释义 | Baldy Mountain mountain, Arizona, United States summit (11,403 feet 【3,476 metres】) in the White Mountains, Apache county, eastern Arizona, U.S. Springs on the mountain's northern slope form the headwaters of the Little Colorado River. Also called Dzil Ligai (Apache: “Mountain of White Rock”), Baldy is located within a 7,000-acre (2,833 hectare) wilderness area; the summit and southern flank lie within the White Mountain Apache Reservation, and access by non-Apaches is prohibited. It is the second highest point in Arizona, exceeded only by Humphreys Peak (12,633 feet 【3,851 metres】) in the San Francisco Mountains.
