词条 | récit |
释义 | récit literature French:“narrative” or “account” a brief novel, usually with a simple narrative line. One of the writers who consciously used the form was André Gide (Gide, André). Both L'Immoraliste (1902; The Immoralist) and La Porte étroite (1909; Strait Is the Gate) are examples of the récit. Both are studiedly simple but deeply ironic tales in which the first-person narrator reveals the inherent moral ambiguities of life by means of seemingly innocuous reminiscences. Another example of a récit is Albert Camus (Camus, Albert)'s La Chute (1956; The Fall). |
