释义 | cisticola bird also called Fantail Warbler, ![]() The most widespread example is the zitting cisticola, or common fantail warbler (C. juncidis), a reddish brown, streaky bird, 11 cm (4.5 inches) long, found from Europe and Africa to Japan and Australia. Like most cisticolas it makes a domed nest. The most common species from India to the Philippines and Australia is C. exilis, often called tailorbird, because it sews green leaves into its nest. |
