释义 | Clitunno River river, Italy Latin Clitumnus, river in Umbria regione, central Italy, rising from an abundant spring between Spoleto and Trevi and flowing 37 miles (60 km) northwest to join the Timia, a tributary of the Tiber (Tevere) River. The spring was described by the Roman writers Virgil and Pliny the Younger and was visited by the emperors Caligula and Flavius Honorius. |
