释义 | Tennessee walking horse breed of horse also called Plantation Walking Horse, ![]() The running walk is a natural gait that may be improved but not acquired by a horse without the natural ability. The gait is faster than a flat-footed walk, with a speed of 10 to 13 km (6 to 8 miles) per hour. The front foot strikes the ground an instant before the diagonal hind foot. The horse has a low, gliding, reaching action, the hind foot overstepping the print of the forefoot by several inches. Official recognition as a distinct breed dates from 1935.
