释义 | Winslow Arizona, United States city, Navajo county, east-central Arizona, U.S. It lies in the valley of the Little Colorado River. Founded in 1882 as a divisional terminal of what was then the Santa Fe Railway, it was named for Edward F. Winslow, a railroad official. Winslow's economy is based upon transportation, tourism, manufacturing, and trade. The lumber industry is also important. Meteor Crater is a few miles west. To the north is the extensive Navajo Nation Reservation, which includes Monument Valley and Canyon de Chelly National Monument and which encloses the Hopi Indian Reservation.
