释义 | Moser-Pröll, Annemarie Austrian skier née Annemarie Pröll born March 27, 1953, Kleinarl, Austria Austrian Alpine skier who held the all-time record of six women's World Cup championships, five in succession (1971–75). Pröll skied from the age of four. She tried out for the Austrian national ski team at the age of 15. Her Olympic Winter Games success came late. She won silver medals for the downhill and the giant slalom at the 1972 Winter Games in Sapporo, Japan, and at the 1980 Games in Lake Placid, N.Y., U.S., she won the gold medal for downhill, her specialty. In 1973 she won a record 11 consecutive women's downhill World Cup races. Pröll retired in 1976 but later returned to competition, winning her sixth World Cup title in 1979. She retired again after the 1980 Olympic Winter Games. Her 62 career World Cup wins remains the record for women. |
