| 释义 | Mymensingh Bangladesh formerly Nasirabad city, north-central Bangladesh, on the north bank of the Old Brahmaputra River. Once noted for its glass-bangle manufacture, it now has textile and steel mills. It was incorporated as a municipality in 1869 and is home to Bangladesh Agricultural University (1961) as well as a number of government colleges. Pop. (2001) 227,201. |
