Canadian Alpine skier who was the winner of the inaugural women's World Cup (1967–68).
Greene's family were all avid skiers, and she began skiing before she was six years old. Two of her sisters were also members of the national women's team. She was educated in public schools at Rossland, a business college in Trail, and at Notre Dame University in Nelson—all in British Columbia. She was a member of the national team (1959–68) and of the 1960, 1964, and 1968 Winter Olympic teams, winning the gold medal for the giant slalom race and the silver for the slalom at the 1968 Games in Grenoble, France. She turned professional thereafter and worked in support of the national team. She also organized a public relations firm and became a sports journalist and broadcaster.
