| 释义 | Prix du Jockey Club French horse race one of the major French horse races, an event for three-year- old colts and fillies that originated in 1836. It is run over a 2,400-metre (about 1 1/2-mile) course at Chantilly, near Paris, and is sometimes termed the French Derby because of its similarity to the older English race of that name. It is run in June. |
